Control & monitoring application endineer for KA
During the start-up phase the company extremely needed successful onsite installations and feedback on functionality, features, testing etc. of the newly born “unknown” product. Having the trust from my customers who were decision – makers and being a versatile expert in the automation equipment I successfully designed and installed a lot of systems. The implementation pattern in all projects generally was similar:
- getting functional requirements from customers
- solving connectivity problem (most devices had unsupported communication protocols) by writing necessary data exchange, in most cases with “reverse engineering” techniques
- learning the program (or memory map) of the device(s) to get necessary data, application design, which usually involved:
- data acquisition setup
- user screens setup
- analytics setup
- writing control logic (Lua and PLC languages)
